I have read quite a few paranormal novels in the last few years that I have been disappointed in. Don’t Turn Around by Caroline Mitchell has restored my faith in the genre. Part paranormal and part crime it is the first in the series to feature DC Jennifer Knight.
When she starts to investigate a series of deaths that are identical to ones her mother investigated years earlier she starts to experience events that are not quite normal.
It’s hard to review without giving too much of the story away, I had no idea who the murderer was and I loved the ending. Really looking forward to reading the next in the series.
